This is a Review for Blueberry Pancakes by Mountain Oak Vapors. First off, I'll have you know that I hate candy blueberry tastes. Blueberry flavored e-juice should have the subtle, soft sweetness of real blueberries. Most e-liquid vendors don't understand that and use flavorings in their ejuices that are too sweet and candy-like for my tastes. How did Mountain Oak Vapors do? Upon opening the glass bottle, I instantly smell blueberry pancakes. REAL, honest to God, blueberry pancakes. But, it's the taste that matters!. I loaded up my clean cart with that sweet, clear juice and took my first inhale. Breath-taking. This eliquid tastes exactly like a blueberry pancake fresh off the stove! This isn't a mere pancake covered in too-sweet blueberry sauce. Oh, no, friends. This is a pancake that started out as a bowl of pancake batter with fresh blueberries dropped into the mix! I love this vape! This was sadly, the last flavor I had the pleasure of testing in the Dark Temptations sample pack. Which ones will I reorder? I HAVE NO IDEA! This is a Review for Irish Mint by Mountain Oak Vapors! Are you looking for that familiar Bailey's Irish Cream taste in e-liquid form? I found it! This ejuice is very good. I don't know what I expected when I opened that little glass bottle, but I was blown away when the sweet Irish cream smell with a mint kiss hit my nose. There's a freshness to this eliquid that all of Mountain Oak Vapors' ejuices seem to have. I can't describe it, but it smells to fresh! After loading up my atty with Irish Mint, I believe I could sit here and vape all day. This is delicious! The juice was very clear, as Mountain Oak Vapors creations are known to be. The taste is spot on! If you weren't keen on the chocolaty mint in Eskimo Kisses, then this is the vape for you! Get your Irish Mint at Mountain Oak Vapors!

Coffee and Cream by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a Review for Coffee and Cream by Mountain Oak Vapors. I would guess that 90% of the time, I am a morning person. We all have bad mornings, but for the most part, I am up with the sun. I think of my morning cup of coffee as my special helper. I have tried a lot of coffee vapes. Most of the time, they leave me with a feeling that I have just consumed stale coffee. Mountain Oak Vapors sets a premium flavor standard that no other vendor can seem to reach, so I was very excited about this e-liquid! I am loading this Coffee and Cream e-juice into a fresh carto. The smell coming out of this little glass bottle is that of a strong coffee - a FRESH coffee. How exciting! On the inhale, I literally taste a fresh drink of coffee with the perfect amount of sugar and cream. How do they get this taste in their ejuice? Just another beautiful mystery of life, I guess. Absinthe Minded by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a Review for Absinthe Minded by Mountain Oak Vapors. Alright, so I am pretty excited about this flavor. The name is cool as hell. There aren't a lot of vendors out there that handle black licorice - Which is a shame. Were you the kid that savored the black jelly beans? If so, then this eliquid is for you! Mountain Oak Vapors famously creates Premium e-juice that is so clear, you can read a newspaper through it. I don't know what makes other e-liquids cloudy, but NO THANKS! Mountain Oak Vapors is the clear choice! Opening the little glass bottle, I can smell the absinthe. This is intense. Filling up my fresh carto, the smell just gets stronger. I'm a little afraid, but I trust Mountain Oak Vapors. They haven't failed me yet! Here goes nothing! How to describe this next part... It's like my taste buds are falling. I keep getting deeper, darker tastes of absinthe. It's delicious, but so complex. It's like my sense of taste has found the 6th dimension. Banana Split by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a Review for Banana Split by Mountain Oak Vapors. Alright, so I'll be honest. I don't particularly care for banana. That flavor just never made it into my list of favorites. I remember as a child, my mother tried so hard to get me to eat bananas for the potassium and vitamins. I, personally, would rather just take a Multi-vitamin pill. So, when it came to trying this e-juice, I wasn't as thrilled as I was about the other ejuices. And let this be a lesson to you, "try it, you might like it!" I tried. And I did! The picture on the Mountain Oak Vapors website suggests that this e-liquid tastes like a banana split. If I know one thing about Mountain Oak Vapors, I know they don't lie or misrepresent themselves. So, here we go. I've loaded up my clean carto with Banana Split after the banana smell from the bottle filled my nasal cavities. On the inhale, I can taste the banana with a backdrop of chocolate and a tiny hint of cherry. HOW DID THEY DO THAT?! Normally, Banana and Cherry are so loud that they cover up everything else! Not this time! This is pretty amazing. I don't think I would like plain banana. And I know I don't like plain cherry. But, this well-blended eliquid is superb! Wow. My mother would be gloating if she could see how much I am enjoying this banana flavor. I may call her and tell her! Get your Banana Split at Mountain Oak Vapors!

Cinnamon Swirl by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a Review for Cinnamon Swirl by Mountain Oak Vapors! Hello! I've got another sample of "The Best Premium e-liquid" out there! I'm telling you, guys, Mountain Oak Vapors KNOWS how to make eliquid. I opened this little glass bottle and the smell made love to my nose. (Yeah, picture that!) This smells like the aroma of the Bakery Shop. Without further delay, I simply must load my carto with this e-juice now! On the inhale, I literally taste a cinnamon bear claw. On exhale, it's the same delicious taste with a hint of vanilla icing. Sweet Pete! This is really delicious. One thing to note, is the softer throat hit. Mountain Oak Vapors is known for creating ejuices with decent throat hits, but this one is more mellow. Of course, I am only vaping at 12mg. I can't imagine that at a higher Nic Level, you would really feel this one more. I've tasted other dessert vapes, but they always taste fake or like they have been sitting in plastic. Maybe it was the plastic bottles those other vendors use. But, I think maybe Mountain Oak Vapors just has juice-mixing down to a science. Yum! Another winner! Eskimo Kisses by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a Review of Eskimo Kisses by Mountain Oak Vapors. First, let me start out by saying this e-liquid smells amazing. I have always been a bit of an eliquid snob. When Mountain Oak Vapors proclaims that their liquid is "The Best Premium E-Juice," I believe them! If this smell is an indication of the flavor, then I am in for a treat! I am loading up my e-cig with Eskimo Kisses. (LOVE THE NAME!) And I must say, Mountain Oak Vapors is still making their e-juices extra clear. They are known for having the most cart/atty-friendly ejuice out there. Time for the taste test! On the inhale and the exhale, I get the same delicate balance of chocolate and mint. This is really good, folks. This reminds me of those chocolate after-dinner mints that they give you at Olive Garden. Decadent! As I continue vaping, I realize that this could very well be an all-day vape for me. I have been known to down a pint of Chocolate Mint ice cream...and therefore, I may need a larger bottle of this deliciousness! Go try some at Mountain Oak Vapors!

So, I received my Dark Temptations sample pack today from Mountain Oak Vapors. It's an absolute treat to get these gorgeous little tins with the glass bottles lined up like perfect little soldiers. I have enjoyed all of these flavors. I was very excited to get this as there were a few flavors that sounded too good to be true! Let's see how Mountain Oak Vapors stacks up when it comes to desserts! Once again, I will individually post each review! So...on to the reviews!

Tennessee Original by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a review for Tennessee Original by Mountain Oak Vapors. My poor, little Tennessee Original sample pack is depleted save for one last, glass bottle. This e-liquid, to my understanding, is the tobacco blend used for most of the Mountain Oak Vapors Tennessee Original tobacco line. It will be interesting to try this out now that I have had all of the other ejuices. I am ready. Opening the bottle, I am hit with the inviting smell of this eliquid. I can recall the subtle hints from the other e-juices in the pack. I'm filling up my clean carto and preparing to spend the day with this old, familiar friend. On the inhale, I believe my dreams came true. :) I have finally found a stand alone tobacco that doesn't taste like crap. I have tried several vendors, but their tobaccos are disgusting. Ever heard of "Tobacco Absolute"? Pray you don't. It tastes like it could clean a car engine...or burn off a tumor. It is quite apparent that Mountain Oak Vapors doesn't use Tobacco Absolute. On the exhale, I feel like slipping lower into my chair and enjoying the wave of bliss. This is truly art. Much like the rest of this sample pack, Mountain Oak Vapors has taken their time and created the best ejuice out there. Unbelievable. Please join me again in the next week or so. Blue Ridge by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a review of Blue Ridge by Mountain Oak Vapors. Today, I am going to be trying a blueberry tobacco blend e-liquid from the Tennessee Original sample pack. I'm not a huge fan of fake candy blueberry flavors, so I don't know how this eliquid will work for me. But, you never know until you try! To the testing! Opening the little glass bottle, I can smell a faintness to the familiar Tennessee Original tobacco. That description probably doesn't make sense, but it's the best I can come up with for the smell of this e-juice right now. I'm loading up my carto and bracing for the worst. On the inhale, I am blown away. OMG I can taste the blueberries...they taste like the real deal. The Tennessee Original mingles with them in a earthy, soft way. The exhale magnifies the flavors fantastically. I've said it before about their other ejuices and I'll say it again....this is an "all-day" vape. Mountain Oak Vapors, another win!

Smooth & Mild by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a review of Smooth & Mild by Mountain Oak Vapors. Yesterday, I vaped the e-liquid Applewood by Mountain Oak Vapors from my Tennessee Original sample pack. I was so impressed by this new tobacco blend, Smooth & Mild, that I wanted to try it today in it's pure form. Let's get to the review! Opening up the little glass bottle, I can smell the tobacco. This tobacco e-juice smells....like a cowboy should smell. Smooth, but strong. I believe I can smell some earthy. it's not a bad smell, it reminds me of pipe tobacco, a little. I fill up my carto and attach it to my six-shooter....errr....I mean, ecig. :) On the first inhale, I am stunned by the complexity of all of the flavors I can taste. It's amazing. The flavors are so complex, but not overwhelming as the eliquid stays true to it's name. This is Smooth AND Mild. I'm actually licking my lips now between puffs, trying to discern exactly what these flavors are. Maybe this will just be one of those beautiful mysteries of life for me. In a fleeting moment, I think I taste a cigarette, but then it's gone. Another vape, and I could almost swear that I taste something sweet, but it slips away. They can just change the name to Cool & Awesome because that's what this is. Truthfully, I am more interested in what this could compliment. I know they worked apple in with it and honey, but this flavor is gorgeous enough to do virtually anything with. Thanks again, Mountain Oak Vapors! Smooth & Mild is a winner!

Applewood by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a review of the e-liquid Applewood by Mountain Oak Vapors. As some of you know, I purchased the Tennessee Original sample pack from Mountain Oak Vapors. Normally, I don't enjoy tobaccos, but I love the Dark Temptations line from Mountain Oak Vapors so much that I decided to give their tobacco line a shot. So far, I have not been disappointed. They've made me a tobacco lover! Applewood! Again, I love the little glass bottles with the droppers. I really can't get over how professional this company is. Other vendors use plastic bottles for their eliquids...and I have always been able to taste the plastic. (Their loss.) On to the review! Upon opening the glass bottle, I immediately smell the apple. Mmmm...it smells like those big, red apples that I coveted when I was a child. You know the ones...they were perfect for drowning in a pot of caramel. I think I detect a hint of the tobacco, but it isn't as prevalent in the scent of this e-juice. Time for the test! My cartomizer is clean and ready for some Applewood. After loading my carto up, I attach it to my e-cig and prepare for something good. On the inhale, the tobacco is upfront. This tobacco blend doesn't taste quite like the Tennessee Original they typically use. After another peek at the Mountain Oak Vapors website, I can see that this base is actually Smooth & Mild. It's just like the name suggestions. This is a very smooth, mellow tobacco. The red apple taste is like a soft whisper. It's THERE, but equally as smooth as the tobacco. Wow, guys. This is the definition of "Perfect Balance." I keep vaping it between sentences. This could easily be an all-day vape. There is nothing off-putting about this delicious eliquid. Another "best vape" from Mountain Oak Vapors!

Frostbite by Mountain Oak Vapors

Today, I am reviewing Frostbite by Mountain Oak Vapors. Before I gave up cigarettes, I was a menthol smoker. I could smoke non-menthols, but menthols really hit the spot for me. Switching to e-cigs was the best thing I had ever done, but I was still on the mission to find that menthol taste in an e-juice. I have tried other vendors' versions of menthols e-liquids, but they tasted fake. They didn't scratch that itch. Well, Mountain Oak Vapors has done it again with their version of a menthol ejuice. Frostbite is a menthol version of Mountain Oak Vapors' Tennessee Original. Opening the little glass bottle, I can smell the Tennessee Original. Where is the menthol? Hmmm.... Filling up my carto, I acknowledge the signature, clear quality of Mountain Oak Vapors premium eliquid. On the first inhale, I KNOW this is their menthol. I have just been frostbitten. On the exhale, I can feel my eyes rolling into the back of my head. The itch has been scratched. I have found my own piece of heaven on this earth. I am taking my time and enjoying each hit. I'm blowing gorgeous plumes of cold vapor around the room like I'm celebrating. I guess I am celebrating. I have found the Holy Grail of menthols. This is the real deal. This tastes exactly like a menthol cigarette to me. I love it. Tomorrow, I will try to pull myself away from Frostbite to review another bottle of Mountain Oak Vapors sample pack. I'll try! MOV Gold by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a review of MOV Gold by the best company to buy premium American Made e-liquid - Mountain Oak Vapors. Good morning! Today, I selected another random glass bottle out of my Mountain Oak Vapors tobacco sample pack! And the lucky winner was MOV Gold! I have been excited about MOV Gold. I love honey, and I have a feeling that it mixes well with their signature tobacco blend. (I mean, come on, everything I've tried up to this point has! How can you go wrong with honey??) I am a great lover of honey. I love it on biscuits, toast, and waffles. That liquid gold completes breakfast! Upon opening the bottle, I can smell the tobacco and a sweet honey note. The honey doesn't smell very strong. But, we all know that the smell and the actual inhale can be two different experiences. As I feel up the carto for my ecig, I can already tell that this is another clear, well-craft eliquid. How do they get their ejuice so clear?!It must be some special, e-juice secret that no one else knows? On the first inhale, I can only taste the tobacco. By the second and third inhale, I am in heaven. This is extraordinary e-liquid. Mountain Oak Vapors is known for having flavors with just the right throat hit and serious amounts of vapor. The taste is superb. The perfect blend of tobacco and honey flavors dancing to some wonderful song that I can't hear. There is something to be said for these Mountain Oak Vapors people. They truly craft unique flavors in a flawless e-liquid. This sample pack was a great buy! Tomorrow, we'll see what other treasures I can find in that little silver tin!

Black Forest by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a review of Black Forest by Mountain Oak Vapors. So, I am digging into my Tennessee Original sample pack and I randomly pull out a little glass bottle. Which one is it? Black Forest e-liquid. As I open the bottle I am hit with a dark, dreamy scent. I have no idea what this is...is that black licorice?? I'm going to their website to see what the description says....Yes, it says black licorice. Here we go! Upon filling my carto, I can't get over that scent. I guess the name really sums it up. This is a dark, yet subtle sweet smell. My e-cig is ready to go. After the first few puffs, I can already tell that Mountain Oak Vapors has once against put another little miracle in a bottle. This is amazing. I am tasting the Tennessee Original blend on the inhale with some sort of fruit. And on the exhale, there is a very dark, hint of licorice. The licorice really isn't as strong as it smells when it comes to vaping. But, it adds something....mysterious, yet delightful to this ejuice. Each time I inhale, I keep trying to guess what fruit flavor that I'm tasting. I have no idea, but it's delicious. Black Forest from Mountain Oak Vapors could easily be an all-day vape for me. Mountain Oak Vapors has always proclaimed that they have the best and most unique premium eliquid that money can buy. I am starting to believe them. This e-juice is amazing! I've tried several vendors, but no other e-liquid vendor has had such unique recipes! My next purchase will be a giant bottle of Black Forest.

Cloverfield by Mountain Oak Vapors

This is a review of Cloverfield by Mountain Oak Vapors. Mountain Oak Vapors, in my opinion, is the best American Made premium e-liquid out there. My first impression of Cloverfield is the distinct smell of cloves that I remember from my younger years. There was nothing sexier than the taste of cloves. This smell is the smell of nostalgia. I'm loading up my carto now...and I am still amazed by how clear and clean Mountain Oak Vapors' ejuices are. They never kill my cartomizers like other eliquids that I've tried. Whether I use a regular 510 or a PV, the vapes are always good! What a gorgeous, clean e-juice! My carto is now ready to go. Oh, that is great e-liquid! Cloverfield is a true clove flavor wrapped in it's classic, mysterious antiquity. It the deep taste of clove mixed with a subtle layer of tobacco. I'm guessing they used their signature Tennessee Original with this as I am picking up on the earthy, yet wild taste of it. My e-cig is happy tonight! This flavor gives me the same feeling when I send a postcard to a distant friend rather than an e-mail. It's a passion for the past. A yearning. Mountain Oak Vapors has hit the nail on the head with Cloverfield! Tonight, with my constant e-cig companion, I will watch the dusky sky until it's completely black. Tomorrow, I will leave my past behind and look into the future of RY4 with Classic Country4.

Holy crap. Mountain Oak Vapors just released sex in a bottle. MOV Gold is their new tobacco with honey. It's like they found mana from Heaven and mixed it with crushed up angel wings. I LOVE it. They've added a Create Your Own Flavor app and I am thinking about mixing MOV Gold with their Cinnamon Swirl. Oh, hell....why mess with perfection?

The Day After...Is your toilet bowl green?

It's common knowledge that most of you woke up feeling a little less than fresh. lol A very wonderful man taught me how to combat those feelings by drinking water all night with my green beer. I probably should have shared that tidbit yesterday. But, here we are. I hope everyone returned safely to whence they came. ;)

TAMPA - Touted as a safer alternative to traditional smoking, electronic cigarettes are supposed to give smokers their nicotine fix without the cancer-causing side effects of tobacco. But some have serious concerns that the battery-operated vaping devices may actually pose more dangers to users.
Florida banned smoking in most public places more than eight years ago, but some 40 years after Gwynne Chesher started lighting up. “In 1965, everybody smoked, it was an acceptable thing to do back then."
At her worst, Chesher was puffing a pack a day and eventually, she tried to stop. "I tried the gum; It gave me a stomachache. Tried the patch; it made my heart beat fast and scared me."
So when her son, recently suggested yet something else, Gwynne signed up.
"You just inhale like a cigarette," and began what some call 'vaping.' “It looks like smoke, but its water vapor."
E-cigarettes are battery operated. They have the look and feel of a traditional cigarette, without the smell, the smoke and the harmful side effects, say its supporters. Chesher said, “I was really impressed.”
Then her doctor weighed in. “He was like 'No way! You can't use those!'”
Dr. Mike Feinstein, a spokesman for the American Lung Association said, “People are inhaling some type of chemical vaporized compound into their lungs without really knowing what's in it."





Wait. Stop right there. Dr. Feinstein, have you ever even seen an e-liquid site, much less vaped? The ingredients are almost always listed on these vendor sites with the appropriate warnings. The brand I use states clearly on their site AND their bottles all ingredients contained in their e-liquid. As a matter of fact, all of their materials are made in America and USP grade. Maybe you were right...20 years ago. As a Spokesman for the American Lung Association, I would think you would research more. Maybe find out what the common components are and elaborate on each item individually to better inform your audience. Baseless scare tactics exhaust me.

I find it increasingly amusing that "vape-curious" people are so timid when it comes to the idea of carrying around a device.  Why in the world would you worry about vaping in public when you smoked in public for so long?  Have you heard of secondhand vape?  I haven't.  And you probably never will either.

I think the problem is that you don't vapers see it as commonly as smokers.  When was the last time you saw someone vaping?  If you're like me, you are the only one you actually know that does it.  But, with gas stations stocking their shelves with the disposables, maybe it will become more common.  I am slowly starting a movement with my friends and loved ones.  Taking away their packs and easing 510's in their hands.

I do believe in a few years it will be bizarre to see someone smoking an actual analog.  *sigh*  Maybe one day.  Until then, I'll puff on my Cinnamon Swirl and be a trendsetter.

Kudos for implementing an appointed day for people to try to kick a nasty habit.  I don't know how much weight it carries for smokers, but I hope that it inspires them to know that there are other people making the same tough choice.  No.  Not a choice.  I don't want to call it that.  It's more like a battle.

Don't feel left out if you don't live in the UK.  There is always World No Tobacco Day.

So, on March 31, put that pack down.  If you've already started the battle, encourage someone else to put their pack down.  You know....technically, there is no tobacco in an e-cig.  I plan to vape the entire day....Proudly.  Nay!  Triumphantly!  I'll have to put in a major order for my e-liquid of choice ahead of time!

Quitting Smoking

So, I haven't had an actual cigarette in 1 month.  I have tried to stop smoking several times and failed miserably. Miserably.  In the past, I would last anywhere from 3 days to 1 week.  I know, I know....pitiful.  But, last month, I found something extraordinary.  Vaping.  Vaping has opened a door for me.  With vaping, I can now enjoy my Nicotine minus the nastiness of a cigarette.  And what could be better than that?  My mother's silence.  She would nag and begrudge my dirty, little habit.  But, after some research, she actually supports my vaping.  Dare I say...She's PROUD of it.  If you're looking to trade in one habit for another, you should look it up.  But, what's better than that?  I can vape virtually anywhere.  That's right.  Virtually anywhere.  Since there is no combustion, it's not considered smoking.

So, how did it start?  I started on those cheap, disposable gas station e-cigs.  (I'm sure the "vaping community" is shuddering, but hey, you have to start somewhere!)   Then I moved on to Blu cigs with pre-filled cartomizers.  Better still.  But, then...Oh, then, I found my Lavatube.  (www.volcanocigs.com) And the heaven's opened, etc, etc.  Some of you Vaping Veterans are now wondering what I vape.  I found a little, local operation called Mountain Oak Vapors. They blew my mind.  I <3 them.  They adhere to my usual criteria :

1. American made.
2. No custards.
3. I can select my Nicotine level.
4. Their Customer Service is awesome.


I really don't see myself taking a step back to cigarettes now.  Wish me luck!
